The pictorial resources and designs remained from artistic works of these times are among the available documents which can be studied by focussing on the position of women in this period. The designs of figures remained from the early centuries of Islam may be investigated in the murals of Omavis’ castles, Abbasians’ palaces, f manuscripts of Abbasian age and also in the designs of other artists. In these designs, the apparent identity of woman may be recognized as sacred, governor, minstrel, mother or spouse who has been portrayed with diverse covers and make ups. The researchers may realize women’s social identity and situation at that time by analyzing their decorations, designs and covers. It is necessary to mention that in the early centuries of Islam, art and artistic works did not have any considerable importance and value and no art was formed by Islamic beliefs. For this reason, the works remained from that time had admirable intellectual sediments with them. But from the third centuries onward, we witness considerable changes in artistic works due to the growth of Islamic beliefs. Generally, from this period onward we witness the figures being simplified as well as the growth of abstract designs due to emphasis on “prohibition of depiction” in Islamic beliefs. This depiction constraint had a deep influence on the lack of any realistic imaging during the history of Islamic art. As a result, what is dealt with in this paper regarding the designs of women’s figures (from the respect of pictorial aspect) has a decoration-oriented aspect. In the works of Islamic art, human’s figure has mostly appeared beside the designs of flowers, plants and birds it is only the cover or pictorial positions of the figures which gives a limited and definite identity to the characteristics of men and women and has given an ideal, mythological or mythical aspect to them and assists us in this research.}, keywords = {Early Islam,Painting of Manuscripts,Pictorial Resources,Social Position,Women’s Identity}, title_fa = {بررسی هویت زنان در نقوش آثار هنری سده های آغازین اسلام}, abstract_fa = {منابع تصویری به‌جای مانده از آثار هنری سده‌های آغارین حکومت اسلامی یکی از مستندات معتبری است که می‌توان با بررسی آن به هویت و جایگاه اجتماعی زنان در آن دوران دست یافت. نقوش پیکره‌های زنان در دیوارنگاره‌های کاخ‌های امویان و عباسیان، اولین اطلاعات بصری مستدل در این خصوص را از دو قرن اولیة اسلام به ما ارائه می‌دهند. در سده‌های بعدی گسترة نقوش را علاوه بر دیوارنگاره‌ها در نگارگری نسخ خطی و دیگر شاخه‌های هنری می‌توان مشاهده کرد. از سدة ششم به بعد با استحکام باور اسلامی در میان سایر ملل شاهد حضور تصاویری هستیم که به وجوه مختلف شخصیت زن می‌پردازد؛ این پیکره‌ها گاه جنبة تزئین‌گرا، گاه نمادین و گاه اسطوره‌ای پیدا کرده‌اند. در این دوران تصویر پیکر زنان اکثراً در کنار نقوش گل و گیاه، پرنــده و یا حیوانات دیگر ظاهر و برای بازیابی هویت و شخصیت زنان می‌توان به پوشش و یا حالات پیکره‌ها تأکید کرد. در این مقاله علاوه بر معرفی جایگاه اجتماعی زنان، به این مهم پرداخته می‌شود که بعضی از این تصاویر جنبه‌ای آرمانی دارد و برخی دیگر هویتی اساطیری به آنان می‌بخشد. این پیکره‌ها که با پوشش‌ها و آرایش‌های متنوع به تصویر کشیده شده‌اند، علاوه بر زیباشناسی دوران از باورها و تمایلات و موقعیت‌های فردی آنان نیز سخن دارند. نکتة قابل توجه در تمایزات این تصاویر آن است که در بررسی تحلیلی آنان می‌توان هویت اجتماعی زنان را به‌عنوان مقدسه، حاکم، خنیاگر، مادر و یا همسر باز شناخت.}, keywords_fa = {اسطوره‌ای,سده‌های آغازین اسلام,موقعیت اجتماعی,نقش و نگار,نمادین,هویت زنان}, url = {https://jwica.ut.ac.ir/article_29139.html}, eprint = {https://jwica.ut.ac.ir/article_29139_c35bc73eae784f12e6a5dcfb2a6f3119.pdf} }
