Using an approach of both descriptive and comparative nature, the present article uses narrative analysis method to conduct an exploration of two similar legends of Beauty and the Beast, from European culture, and Shāhmār, from Iranian culture. The research question is the following; in the two narratives under study, what is described as the ideal epitome of a woman through the evolutionary course of moving from girlhood to womanhood by means of marriage? To answer this question, using the notion of “transformation” in the ideas of John Hinnells as well as the description of marriage as the “transformation of matrimony” based upon the ideas of Joseph Campbell about the evolutionary journey of mythical heroes, the condition of the heroines of both legends- along their path that leads to transformation of matrimony- was studied and analyzed. The results of the research show that the evolution of the heroine of Beauty and the Beast is based upon going past the state of girlhood to the state of womanhood by means of love and union with a creature which looks like a beast, a creature whose hidden inner beauty is unveiled and revealed after experiencing love, leading to the end of the story. In Shāhmār, however, love and union is created only when human nature of the beast is revealed, as this is the point where the eventual evolution of woman, namely, accepting the role of motherhood, starts; protecting the love and matrimony is thus introduced as the ideal and that which is of prime importance.}, keywords = {Gender Evolution,Folk Literature,Beauty and the Beast,Shahmar,Archetype,Evolutionary Course}, title_fa = {سیر تحول مفهوم مادرسالاری نزد مغولان و ایلخانان با تحلیل آیکونوگرافیک نگارة پرسیدن فریدون نسب خود را از مادرش در شاهنامة بزرگ مغولی}, abstract_fa = {بازتاب جریانات و حوادث دوره‏های مختلف تاریخی در هنرهای آن دوره و ارتباط متقابل گونه ‏ها و سبک‏ های هنری با رویدادهای جامعة معاصر خلق اثر بین اکثر پژوهش‌گران تاریخ و جامعه ‏شناسی هنر امری پذیرفته ‏شده است. مسئلة پژوهش حاضر بررسی و تحلیل چگونگی سیر تحول مفهوم مادرسالاری نزد مغولان اولیه تا انقراض ایلخانان با مطالعة موردی نگارة پرسیدن فریدون نسب خود را از مادرش در شاهنامة بزرگ مغولی است. در تحلیل داده ‏ها از مبانی آیکونوگرافی ازجمله تطبیق نگاره با منابع تاریخی، روابط بینامتنی و استحاله بهره گرفته ‏شده است. رویکرد پژوهش توصیفی‌ـ تحلیلی است و اطلاعات به روش کتابخانه ‏ای و با استفاده از منابع مکتوب و دیجیتال گردآوری شده است. نتایج نشان می‏دهند مفهوم مادرسالاری از دورة مغولان اولیه تا ایلخانی به سه دوره قابل ‏تقسیم است. در دوران قبل از تشکیل امپراتوری به سبب عرف‏گرایی موجود، مادرسالاری به بهترین نحو بر قبایل حاکم است. در دوران فتوحات، ازدواج‏های درباریان و شخص خان همسو با منافع سیاسی و اقتصادی است. در این دوره، نفوذ همسر اول خان بیشتر از سایر زنان است؛ ولی این نفوذ شخصی و غیرمستقیم است تا اینکه امری نهادی باشد. پس از اصلاحات غازان و به‏ ویژه در اواخر عمر ایلخانان، با وجود غلبة‏ دیوان‏سالاری ایرانی‌ـ اسلامی، نمودهایی از بازگشت به عرف‏گرایی در هنرهای این دوره به‏ صورت اعم و اهمیت مجدد مادرسالاری در نگارة مطالعه‌شده (بازتاب نقش مادر ابوسعید در سرنگون کردن امیرچوپان در نگاره) به صورت اخص دیده می‏شود.}, keywords_fa = {مادرسالاری,زنان مغول و ایلخانی,آیکونوگرافی,شاهنامة مغولی}, url = {https://jwica.ut.ac.ir/article_87556.html}, eprint = {https://jwica.ut.ac.ir/article_87556_c2b57347cd79fe7d51a769fdc074ea98.pdf} }
