About Journal

Journal of Woman in Culture and Art is an open access quarterly publication, published by Faculty of Family Sciences. University of Tehran since 2009 and has received a scientific degree from the Commission of Scientific Journals of the country - Ministry of Science, Research and Technology.  This journal uses double-blind peer review and all submitted manuscripts are checked for similarity software (Hamtajoo) to ensure their authenticity to be assured about its originality and then rigorously peer-reviewed by expert reviewers. Woman in Culture and Art is the first academic publication on women's issues that deals with cultural and artistic topics with different scientific trends, with a gender analysis approach.

This journal is following of Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and complies with the highest ethical standards in accordance with ethical laws. All submitted manuscripts are checked for similarity through  software to ensure their authenticity.

Financial Policies

Article Processing Charges

Publishing an article in Woman in Culture and Art requires an Article Processing Charge (APC).  The Article Processing Charges is 7,000,000 IRR.

 
Subscription Fee

Woman in Culture and Art publishes as an open access electronic journal, so there is no subscription fee for audiences.

Journal of Woman in Culture and Art is a fully open-access journal, which means that all articles are available on the Web to all users immediately upon publication. Woman in Culture and Art is licensed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License 4.0 International (CC-BY 4.0). In this journal and Under open access license, authors retain ownership of the copyright for their content, but allow anyone to download, reuse, reprint, modify, distribute, and/or copy the content as long as the original authors and source are cited properly. The authors are the copyright holder in this journal and retain the copyright and full publishing rights without restrictions.
