About Journal
About Journal

Journal of Woman in Culture and Art  is an open-access quarterly journal published by the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Tehran. It sits at the intersection of several key research areas—think media and digital space, inequality and social stratification, family dynamics and shifting identities, urbanization alongside marginalization, employment, politics and social movements, culture and lifestyle, health and social wellbeing, as well as environmental and biological crises. The journal adheres to the principles and guidelines laid out by COPE (the Committee on Publication Ethics) when it comes to reviewing and putting together scientific papers. Every submission is first run through the Samim Noor plagiarism detection software to make sure it's original, and then it goes through a careful peer-review process carried out by seasoned, well-qualified referees. The journal only considers research articles that fall within its thematic scope.
