This study was conducted to study the representation of the concept of "women against women" in cinematic works. Qualitative work in the field of cultural studies that seeks to explain and analyze a particular set of conflicting actions displayed among women in Iranian cinema under the concept of "benevolent xenophobia."Even if cinematic images are not devoid of bias, they can be a slice of social reality. For this purpose, four films from the total of films screened in the 90s have been studied on a case-by-case basis and analyzed by a combined method of discourse analysis and semiotics. The findings of this study show that in a historical and social context, Iranian cinema presents a picture of xenophobia among women, which marginalizes its repressive nature and emphasizes its benevolent intentions. For this reason, the characters in the films in this situation are mainly unaware of and tolerate the reproduction of discrimination against them by their homosexuals. This representation is generally considered to be everyday and natural and is depicted in the margins of the main theme of the film. the characters in the films in this situation are mainly unaware of and tolerate the reproduction of discrimination against their homosexuals.

This paper is an anthropological research about the effect of the emphasis on gender segregation in private and public spaces on the quality of intimate relationships between the girls and the boys.Policymakers pursue an emphasis on gender-based spatial segregation with the aim of promoting moral health and preserving the Islamic identity of cities. For an assessment that how politicians 'goals in gender separation of space affect users' gender actions and attitudes, we have benefited from the participation of two groups of girls with different lifestyles. One of these two groups, which strongly follows the rules of space separation based on gender, has been identified as an inflexible lifestyle and Compared to the other group, which is more flexible in adhering to gender segregation and It is referred to as a flexible lifestyle group. Lefebvre's theory has been used to emphasize space as a social product and to distinguish between spatial action, spatial representation, and representational space. The research method was ethnographic and comparative with an emphasis on participatory observation techniques and ethnographic interviews. Research shows that inflexibility in gender segregation accompanies sex-gender actions with secrecy and more risky decisions.Research therefore shows that inflexible spatial separation does not meet the moral and identity goals of policymakers.

AbstractAs scientific and artistic approaches and ideas became closer to each other, and raising the relationship between society and art, the image presented by various groups, especially the lower classes of society, including women, became a serious subject for research in the media. Based on the ideas of feminist theory and discourse approach, the present article describes how this image is represented in the films (ten films) of the 2000s in Iran. This article analyzes the relationship between the images created by them and the dominant political discourses in this period. According to the findings, in most films, the representation of women's lives tends to be more modern and inclined to none-patriarchal ideas, but these modern women, never find themselves in a polar state. They have the main features of both discourses at the same time. Considering the whole images, in spite of the fact that these works are influenced by the directors' attitudes and their discourse affiliations, there are reflections of the social conditions of the issue of "femininity and masculinity" in these films. It is as if there is a reflection of the conditions of the real transition of society from the traditional to the more modern stage in the films as well.
