Love has been important as a basis of marriage and mate selection in today’s Iranian society. Therefore, this study tries to understand lived experience of marital love before wedding from the perspective of newly married individuals by using phenomenological approach. Research subjects include married citizens of Isfahan who are in their early years of marital life. Through purposive sampling and in-depth interviews with twenty-four individuals data were collected and by using eight stages of phenomenological analysis, based on Butler-Kisber the interviews were analyzed. Data analysis shows that the lived experience of love before wedding up to exactly the wedding moment, is constructed by a contrast between reason and emotion in three phases including the contrast between “Romanticism” and “realism” before the encounter, and “liking”, “realism” and “sparking moments” after the encounter, which can be generally identified with the theme of “confusion between fear and hope”. The moment of wedding, besides having such a contrast, is also a pivotal moment in the consciousness of actors, and functions as the end point of the confusion; since after the wedding moment their uncertainty reduces to zero and they experience a kind of “emotional transformation”. Therefore, the wedding moment signifies a change of the lived experience of marital love before marriage.

Political participation is taken into account as one of the main development indicators. If we consider political development as equivalent to “extension of participation and competition of social groups in their political lives”, then undoubtedly political participation would be one of its prerequisites. Therefore, policy makers emphasize the importance of woman participation in the political fields for a comprehensive development. Therefore, it is necessary to examine the features which influence political participation of women. The statistic group consisted of 384 people. Research method was evaluative and questionnaire was used in order to collect data; SPSS was conducted to test the results. The findings show that there is a significant relationship among political confidence, political awareness, and voluntary organizations. Accordingly, increasing awareness of people and getting them involved in their own destiny through non-governmental organizations can increase both their participation and political trust.

Family is a widespread social institution through which the early universe and its phenomena are understood. It seems that family and intra family relationships has changed these years and has taken a new form. Iranian cinema by creating stereotypes of relationships, personality and positions plays an important role in Iranian people’s mental construction of family and its relations. In this regard, this research seeks to describe the representation of vertical and horizontal relationships of family members in the movies, interpret the actions of family members in crisis situations and problem solving and interpret the link of family on movies with social and political conditions in 2000s. The method used in this research was narrative analysis with Chatman theory. Five films named The Last Supper (1380), Fever (1382), Wet Dream (1384), Canaan (1386) and Seven Minutes to Fall (1388) were selected from the 2000s movies. The results indicate that represented family is in crisis. Family crisis is rooted in individualism and unclear roles and relationships between family members and in most cases leads to divorce. Meanwhile, Iranian cinema in a crisis situation either temporarily delays the crisis by returning to traditions or reinforces the crisis by creating ambiguity in the relationships and roles, instead of solving the problems under study.

World has been the witness of population growth and urbanization, especially in developing countries in the arrival of the new millennium. This process has been lead to the development of urbanization, expanding and complicating social relations metropolis. The emergence of such town with urban problems, such as the expansion of marginalization, raises social charges and a total reduction of social security. In these cities, particularly women are more concerned about social security. This study seeks to examine the factors affecting social security of women living in two neighborhoods in Vanak and Sarasiab. Research theoretical model is composed (inspired by the views Sampson, Skogan, Giddens, Parsons and Pin,…) of a set of variables that influence the feeling of security in neighborhood investigated. These variables include the variable of neighborhood as the independent variable of this paper and the order and trust for splicer variable of the neighborhood position and the feeling of the security. In the aim of empirical research methods, we have used the survey method and questionnaire technique as a means of gathering information. The sample population consisted of 270 women residing in two neighborhoods in Vanak and Sarasiab. The results of experimental study show the differences in women’s feeling of security according to the local situation. In the both neighborhood, neighborhood position in the space-physical and nonspace-social and interpersonal trust dimensions impact on female residents feeling safe and what makes the difference in feeling of security in the two neighborhoods is the effect of physical discipline (Beta: %51), generalized trust (Beta: %15) and fundamental trust (Beta: %10) in the neighborhood Vanak and social order (Beta: %27) in the neighborhood Sarasiab.

Due to the decreased growth rate and aging population, communities population has become a controversial issue. This subject has led many thinkers to understand the factors influencing fertility decline. Understanding the quality of fertility reduction and family change requires an understanding of the status of women which is a result of global change. Women, as one of the pillars of the family and fertility, have experienced many changes in their position, and these changes affect their attitude towards children. The current paper examines the difference in attitude towards children among 400 couples in Tehran who were 15-49 years old by using the questionnaire. Final results showed that there isn’t any significant difference among couples about positive and negative values of children as well as small and large family values. This suggests that couples have parallel views towards children. In addition, income and education have also significant correlation with positive values. Among the variables, age is associated with the values of the family. The overall conclusion also insists on the adoption of liberal norms in the field of fertility.

The findings showed that in recent years, the average growth of women in countries' parliaments is about 20 percent which has grown by 15 percent compared with 10 years earlier. So far, in Iran, 10 parliamentary elections have been held, the tenth period with 7.96 percent has allocated the most participants of women in parliament. The results showed that personalized, administrative, social and cultural restrictions are some barriers for women’s efficient attendance in Islamic Consultative Assembly. Good women governance in Parliament can be facilitated through providing the development projects such as health care services, health, education, employment and effectiveness in the management of high levels of public, private and civil parts. In addition, it is necessary that the representatives of women participate actively in commissions, fractions, delegations and specialized forums for being more influential in the social and cultural management.

Gender combines biological, psychological, cultural, and social elements, and it is considered as a part of cultural and social identity. Language is an important element in the formation of cultural identity and cultural transmission, in fact, it occurs through the symbolic order of language. In this regard, evaluation of language fundamentals from the viewpoint of anthropology and feminist scholars, finding instances of gender discrimination and study of language in any culture, are major branches of cultural studies. Given that the community, using language, could give gender inferiority or superiority of its own, in this study, by collecting relevant information and documents by using library, as well as data analysis approach, and descriptive and critical method, aims to remove gender from mystical Persian language as an innovation in culture. For this purpose, the possibility of new readings with critical and innovative approach has been addressed. Notably, regarding planning for sex removal from Persian language, very few researches have been performed, moreover, many stereotypes in language as well as mystical languages are constantly being reproduced without being seriously examined.

Women’s employment is one of the most important issues which are related to their social status. Attention of policy makers, administrators, legislators and elites also illustrate the importance of the quality and quantity of women’s employment. By conducting a keyword search on "women ad employment" in different data bases including Iran Doc, Normags, and National Library, several studies including 8 thesis, 87 books, 132 scientific articles and 13 research reports have been found and all required data is collected since 1357 onwards. Meta-analysis method is selected to bring to light the hidden aspects of women's employment. Data analysis revealed that quantitative and descriptive approach prevails in the most of studies and minor attention is paid toward the role of women’s employment in development. It is probable to say that the trend of women’s employment has not been studied profoundly and no deep attention is paid to the quality of employment. The barriers of women’s employment have been also studied mostly at micro levels. In fact, it is possible to conclude that the most of the studies carried out in Iran are affected by fixed and established approaches and for this reason, they could not address or explain the structural changes in women's employment.

This can be attributed to the suspension of the relationships in transitioning society of Iran.

Expansion of cities in modern times with special complexity on one hand, and the issue of public areas and spaces, and possibility and quality of presence of women of these spaces on the other have given rise to the emergence of women and cities in literature of urban sociology. Within the context of urban areas men and women are unequal. With the constant struggle to reclaim their right of space, women are forced to negotiate in various forms. The current research is qualitative in terms of method and semi-structured interviews have been conducted with 20 women from Ilam. The results show that feminine body is one of the most important restrictive factors, and fear of aggression and rape keeps women away from urban areas. Urban environment architecture has not considered an appropriate space for women with children and housewives, as well as, the special physiology of women which is considered a determinant factor of women’s lack of access to these areas. On the other hand, social and cultural factors in city are very important which consider women’s presence as socially constructed- a condition which makes women dependent on their husbands or children or other family members.

This article investigates generational changes of child value and childbearing behavior among women before and after Islamic Revolution of Iran. Different generations of Iranian women, based on their shared common life experiences, have various and sometimes contrasting attitudes and perceptions towards the meaning and concept of child and childbearing. This research is cross-sectional and survey-based and the data are collected using questionnaire. Research population included five generations of Zanjani women. The 500 woman- sample consisted of 100 women from each generation. Two-stage sampling, based on PPS method, was used in this research. . Findings showed that the mean score value differences for child and childbearing among studied generations is statistically significant. The lowest rate of child value was related to women between 1992 and 1995 and the highest rate belonged to women before 1963. There was a reverse and negative relationship between individualism and childbearing. A positive and direct relationship is observed between religiosity and childbearing. The effect of globalization on child value among generation of 1979-1988 is stronger than other generations. Based on different historical and biological experiences and awareness of each generation as well as generational and structural conflict, changes in childbearing behavior can be explained; i.e., uneven and unequal distribution of opportunities, resources, and facilities among generations can be explained. Accordingly, generational changes of child value both historically and mentally as well as structurally and objectively can be explained. Women's experiences in terms of globalization in addition to their awareness and expectations improvement as well as changes in their roles and positions after Islamic Revolution in Iran have affected their perceptions and evaluations of child and childbearing value.

Ezzel-din Manasereh is one of the contemporary and prominent poets of Palestine whose newly comments in the realm of Palestine and resistance poem have endued him with a special place in contemporary literature due to his modern delineation in critique. Traditional characters and in particular mythical and folk female characters in Ezzel-din’s poem have great vibrancy which inspire the poet under the influences of cultural, political and social factors to insinuate aforementioned concepts in an artistic way. He invites everyone to resistance in front of the occupants and protection of Arabic and national identity using mythical female character. And thus he challenges the political and social events of his time. Applied myths in Manasereh’s poem are mostly national, Arabic and native and rarely religious. He takes advantage of myths which represent resistance and national identity and heritage such as: Zarghae, Yammameh, Maryam and Jafra. Besides national and Arabic myths he also has made use of Greece and Mesopotamian myths. As it is obvious in his poems he seldom uses Western myths and mostly depends on national origins and sources.Mythical female characters and their variations in Manasereh’s poems have been studied here. These myths are native and locally and sometimes Grecian originated and are derived from his national and transnational beliefs. Key words: mythical، female characters ،poetry for Palestine ،Ezzel-din Manasereh
