چکیده

: اگر به بررسی شعر معاصر فلسطین خلال یک قرن گذشته بپردازیم، خواهیم دید که مفهوم ملیت و وطن بر دیگر مضامین شعری آن غلبه کرده است. شاید بدان سبب باشد که سرزمین فلسطین در طی این دوران پیوسته آبستن حوادث متعدد بود و همین اسباب و عوامل سبب شد تا حس وطن پرستی و دفاع از ملیت و کیان عربی پیوسته در میان شاعران فلسطینی جلوه گر باشد. از صدور اعلامیه بالفور، تلاش برای عملی کردن مفاد آن، مهاجرت گسترده و برنامه ریزی شده ی یهود به فلسطین، حمایت همه جانبه برای تجهیز و تسلیح آنان گرفته تا سرکوبی فلسطینیان، اهانت به مقدسات مذهبی آنان و قیام های سراسری چون 1936 تا 1939، جنگ های 1948، 1967 میلادی همه ی این عوامل در شعله ور ساختن روحیه ی وطن پرستی در میان فلسطینیان نقش به سزایی داشت. طبیعی است که شعر معاصر فلسطین به ویژه شعر فدوی طوقان نیز هم گام با آمال و آرزوهای ملی، در راستای ایفای رسالت سازنده خود به ترویج روحیه ی وطن پرستی بپردازد.

If we study the contemporary Palestinian poetry of the last century we will find that the theme of nationhood and motherland dominates it. One reason is the fact that during this period Palestine has been through such events that has ignited a sense of patriotism, a wish to defend of the motherland and the Arabic origin of the Palestinian people. Since the Balfour Declaration, the endeavour to enforce it and the repression of the Paletinians during the uprisings of 1936-1948, and especially after the 1967 war, have contributed to the cause of Palestinian nationalism. It is natural therefore that contemporary Palestinian poetry should be in tune with popular aspirations in promoting the spirit of patriotism
